Muay Thai Championship Fights

I just found this on Ticketmaster when I was looking for tickets to the next UFC.  This fits a little more into my budget, so I'll be going to Highland, CA on November 9th for this event most likely.  Anyone else want to go?  Shroomery cheering section? :tongue:

I don't know much about this stuff but in your honest opinion how would a Muay Thai fighter do against a good K1 fighter like Ernesto Hoost?

Well I'm sure these particular Muay Thai fighters are skilled in mainly the art of Muay Thai boxing, it's not as well rounded of fighting competetion as K1 or anything.

However a fighter with a background in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jui Jitsu for example could be a great K1 fighter, or a great fighter in any event for that matter (Anderson Silva showed us a good example of that last weekend)

yeah he truly showed what the muay thai clinch is. it's quite interesting, when I went to the US on holiday i ended up training at a muay thai gym. a proper one..not a kickboxing place which labels themselves as being "muay thai." to know that you're in a real muay thai gym...is to learn the clinch...
