it's also possible to divide it up based on the sport.


College football: Florida

Pro football: California

College Basketball: North Carolina

Pro Basketball: California

College Baseball: California

Pro Baseball: New York, easily

etc...

it's pretty hard to put one over the other considering, even though alot of California schools have had strong programs in the past,

currently California is pretty sucky when it comes to college BBall compared to the one-two punch of Duke-UNC.

I do believe UCLA pulled off yet another title in 1997 and still has more than those two combined

not really.


Stanford, but that's not really saying much.


It's pretty much only UCLA.



And in this current decade, Duke and UNC have been succeeding in college Bball to an extent UCLA hasn't.

Green Bay has won 9 championships and 3 Superbowls. That's the highest total for pro football.

Montreal whoops everyone's asses in the NHL. It's not even close.

Considering they're the 3rd oldest team still in the league, playing for 50 years or more longer than other teams, I'm not sure that's a very fair measurement.
