I always thought he'd look like a jackass in pinstripes. :tongue: He looked like a jackass in a rangers uniform too.  He'd look good in a black-heavy uniform, like the Marlins' away ones.

I'm really just talking aesthetics here, not performance.:lol:

Well, he'd certainly be an improvement offensively to Nixon (who's likely gone anyways) and frankly, I'd rather see Barney the Purple fucking dinosaur in right field over Willy Mo Shitglove, but as for Sheffield specifically, I really think he has serious mental issues, and he's a real asshole. And, he's getting old, he'll be 38 next month. I don't think he'd get along well with most people on the Sox, and he'd be a distraction in the clubhouse. As the Yankees exhibited this post season, sometimes chemistry and attitude have almost as much to do with winning as offense, defense and pitching - I'd rather not see him playing for us in '07.
