My baeo patch lives!

I guess i should start by saying i got this brand new sony cyber shot camera 8.1 mp and its fuckign awesome.  The thing takes amazing pictures but i still havent found out how to take focused close up shots any ways heres my PNW(seattle area) patch that i took on Sep 29. Been about 1 week now with no rain, temps in the 80s, and these little guys still growing! Sprinkler power.

You should find a "Digital Macro" option there, that's for super close up. But I see your pics are blurry not cause they're taken from too close.. try pressing the button halfway down, then it will zoom, then take a picture.

Nice pins tho. :P

I agree with macro (its the flower setting), it will let us see whats going on. Keep us updated though! Good finds :smile:

Kinda looks like your too far away too most macro shots you should be at max 18 inches even with your very nice camera choice.Also the focus it can take a near full second to get the best focus.It can take a few months to get used to your new cam try taking close ups of everything around you playing with all the setings the whole time,you'll be better prepared for your next outing and be turning out close ups like thisbefore you know it.

I dont think he even has it on macro function, cause look at the last pic, its not blurry.

Yeah but when he uses it is important to know none the less.I dont think he had it on either.Looks more like he was learning settings while he went along acctually.

Yet another day with no rain.  Well i went back today and i was glad to see my patch looking healthier then the other day.  Did some watering to help em out. I took these pictures with "macro."  They look much better thanks.

something i noticed is those baeo's are growing out of dirt and grassy mud, i thought baeo's grow from wood chips because they are labeled as "wood-lovers", right? so how come they are coming from dirt?
