Any interesting stories about omens? I keep thinking about an omen having to do with my birth. I was "born in the sac," as it's called. This means that when I was born, the amniotic sac did not break, and I came out of my mother still inside it. The doctor had to pop it open to get me out. Needless to say, this is extremely rare. The doctor, who was Greek, said that his culture considers this to be a sign of greatness. Apparently, Alexander the Great was born in the same way.

Now, it's not that I feel conceited about this. Rather, I've often felt pressure to live up to this omen. I feel like I have a responsibility to make a great impact on the world.

Anyway, have you had any great memorable omens in your life?

I've got that same feeling, that I'm really going to do something important, as a matter of fact revolutionary, during my lifetime. Ever since I posted the "Occult" thread people have been making similar post on the shroomery forums. Maybe were all picking up the same vibe of some kind world-changing energy. This is getting kind of weird.

I know this doesn't really answer your question, but still, I dont think it's a coincidence that three post dealing with something "big that's going to happen" are all created and posted within a three day period.

well once i was walking with my girlfriend in the woods and all of a sudden we looked at eachother and a great wind blew down on us and it was NOT a windy day at all and when the wind blew the leaves within a few feet moved but nothing else, i remember this part clearly. it was sort of an awkward experience for me, but i believe it was some kind of blessing. we didn't say anything but later both agreed it was a miracle.
