Man I know how it is.  My dog's a lab, and they will eat anything.  Literally.  One time when she was a puppy we went out and left her in her crate as usual.  When we came back, she was laying on her side, still in the crate, and barely even raised her head when we came home, which was very out of character.  Her stomach was swollen to like 3 times it's normal size, and we were completely baffled, since there was no food in her crate with her.  She pooped like, 10 times that afternoon.  Then later that night we went to go change the blankets in her crate, and found an empty large ziplock storage bag rolled up in the blanket.  We had left a FULL bag of treats, meaty ones, on TOP of her crate.  The little fucker had managed to stand up in her crate, yank the bag through the bars and chew through it, and ate every last one of them. 

Then another time, more recently, she stole a bunch of bananas off of the counter, and ate those.  Skins and all.   

I would advise you to maybe get one of those cases you can stores cigarettes in.  Just think of how bad you'd feel if he somehow ate a BUNCH of them and died of nicotine poisoning   That would be so awful!

And I feel bad, because I won't do it. Now to preface this before I get all the hate posts, my puppy is almost 6 months old, he's only gotten stoned once and it was by accident because he was a hotboxed van and we didn't realize how smoky it was. Ever since then he's been coming and sitting at my feet when I smoke (And sometimes it's like 100 degrees outside, he won't even go outside to piss and he'll still come out) and then when I don't let him have any he goes and sulks. This dog is so damn smart I swear I can tell what he's saying to me by each different look he has, I don't understand why he's such a little pothead. The fucker eats cigarettes and licks the rim of my beers too, I think he takes after his dad too much.
