I'm trying to cheer myself up and posting pictures of my puppy will help, so here's some pictures from a few days ago. My friend came over and brought his little Italian Greyhound Simon, and we went for a good old fashion nature walk in our woods, and let the dogs play at the tennis courts, and let our Lab swim in the pond. There's also an old old stone bridge on our property, that was recently cleared off and restored, so we hung out on that for a bit, it was nice! Unfortunately, despite the fact that there has been a few frosts here already, we came back covered in ticks. I figured they'd be all gone by now...guess not :crazy:

None had bit any of us people, or Simon, but one had partially almost bit my dog, and she had 15 on her that were trying to burrow to the skin. Poor Lucy :frown:

Luckily she's vaccinated against lyme disease. All in all, a very nice day, despite the tick incident! Hope you like the pics :smile:

nice pics, ticks are a bitch, the woods around here
are fun of them. they like to drop out of the trees, and start sucking.

Ticks freak me out too. The other dog is funny, he's SO SO fast! Little bastard though, just like his owner :wink:

We have a LOT of them in our woods...there's 50 acres, and the area right around the house gets sprayed by this company that comes out to spray for ticks...but wayback in the wood where we walk doesn't get sprayed,and thus is crawling with them :crazy:

And Schwip, that's my pup Lucy, she has a habit of trying to "fetch" huge branches, and even trees. i've seen her uproot saplings because she wanted to play with it :lol:

Oh god it is funny. She'll try to get by a tree and smack the branch off it and spin in a full circle and just keep running :lol:

There's lots of vines in our woods, too, and she loves trying to drag them down. And I think her favorite thing is jumping in the pond after you throw a stick in it for her. :thumbup:
