Destroying angel?
    #6090230 -

I'm not sure but is this a deadly amanita?

... and I have no clue what this is, but if there was an ugly mushroom contest, this bad boy should win! When I picked it up, all these bug things started dropping out of holes in its gills, and there was slime covering it!

not sure. doesnt appear to be the destroying angel. perhaps some sort of agaricus?

as for the last one, it appears to be a "Old man of the woods"

but you'd better wait on a second ooppinion.

There isn't a basal bulb so far as I can tell. And the gills are pink sugesting it may be a young Agaricus as stated above... Or perhaps even a Lepiota, though the gills seem too colourful for that.

Woah. I saw a Destroying Angel by my neighborhood pool the other day. I didn't realize what it was until I saw those pictures.

Pika there are many agaricus species that are inedible, and look like the normal button mushrooms. Most people dont even bother with the agaricus genus because they are too hard to ID. Bruising is an important aspect of agaricus ID.

SO dont eat that thing!

Looks like a young carasol mushroom. Lepiota, find some adult ones and see if the stem ring is movable.

I wouldn't eat anything that was was identified on forums either that looks like a destroying angel but the pink gills are pretty distinctive.

The pic isn't that great either...anyway throw it out I wouldn't eat it if it had bugs coming out of it
