Yeah sounds like you have some type of firewall on your computer. I would disable norton and try to run it that way. Also you might want to disable your xp firewall if that is running also.

I use a little ip blocker called Peerguardian. Its the only firewall i need. Its not really a firewall but it has known bad ips listed and keeps them from ever accessing your pc. It can do the same for spyware and trojans. I've never had a virus on this computer yet. You can find peerguardian here. Its very simple to use and set up. http://phoenixlabs.org/pg2/

And for your question on where to find trackers, I suggest trying this list. They are all public. Once you get a feel for bittorrent, come pm me. I will invite you to a private tracker. Please get a feel for it before though. I don't like to waste my invites.

Oh I forgot to mention if you would like to view the quality of a movie before you download, which is mentioned above, use this site.

www.vcdquality.com

Pay attention to the realase groups and the file types when you view. Generally I only download xvids then convert them to dvds. Xvids are highest quality behind x264 files. They will only play on computers and divix enabled dvd players. So you would have to convert the file if you wanted to burn and watch it.
