Official BitTorrent Tracker Invite Thread * 1

Per Redstorm's suggestion, I'm starting a central thread where people can exchange BT tracker invites for Oink, Demonoid, etc. I like the idea because it might ease the load on my FTP. :wink: Plus private trackers are more secure and offer better speeds.

If you have any invites available, just post them in this thread. Giving them away is encouraged, trading for other invites is okay, just don't sell them. Please remember to edit your post once you've given out all your invites.

If you need an invite, first browse this thread or use the "search this thread" field at the bottom and see if there are any available. If so, PM the user and include your e-mail so they can hook you up. If not, you can make a post with your request and get in line, just please be patient and only post once.

Remember, private trackers typically have their own sets of rules. Often there's a ratio requirement which can be hard to maintain since there are so many other seeders. Make sure you're willing to read, understand and follow the rules before accepting any invites. If you fuck up, the person who invited you may be penalized.

Anyway enough introduction, let's get to it!

I have the following:

Pretty much unlimited invites to a private horror tracker named The Horror Charnel. It's pretty easy to keep a good ratio there as long as you continue to seed since you get seed points even if you don't have any leechers. The seeds points are them redeemable to upload stats. Edit: If you want an invite here, I don't need your e-mail addy; just send me a pm.

I also have two invites to Karagarga, an unbelievably excellent tracker for old and non-mainstream movies. This membership is my prized possession for bittorrent and I recommend the site with my highest regards.

For the Horror Charnel invites, I need a screenshot or a user name of a tracker in which you have good stats. For the Karagarga invites, I need not only that proof, but I have to recognize you here and trust you. The reason for this is that if my invitee gets banned, so do I. Please don't disappoint me; I love giving out invites but have been burned in the past. I would have Oink invites as well, but someone I invited cheated and got mine taken away.

For requests, I could really use a Bitmetv invite. Otherwise, I would be happy with a rating for my trouble. :wink:

Not true. If you're seeding a popular torrent then your ratio will be fine. When you download and seed all this obscure music that nobody gives a shit about...of course your ratio is going to suck.

Think outside the box and download something you might not even like just to let it seed for a few days.

A couple of years ago when Oink first did what now seems to be a yearly thing where for a week around the New Year your downloads aren't held against you and only uploading stats count for that week, I got my ratio in such good shape that even now, a year and a half later, I still don't have to worry about my ratio. So, I can feel free to grab all of the obscure music that I want, which is a good thing because obscure music I like.

I still have shit from last Christmas that I've downloaded and haven't even used.
