Yeah, Leaving Beruit is an awesome song. I've been hearing about people booing that song. Most people are idiots and arent even huge Floyd or Waters fans, so I wouldn't let it get to you too much.

I'm gonna see him on the 30th. I can't wait. It will be my 10th time seeing him live.

His show is very political and anti Bush/Iraq war etc.... He has a lot of anti Bush imagery and such.

Im not suprised that some pink floyd fans dont like waters(Im a Gilmour kinda guy myself)..but to boo him...wow.

In fact someone on the myspace group for floyd said this

Last night was absolutely fucking amazing! Seriously, I was very impressed.

I didn't hear anyone booing him when he sang "Leaving Beirut" or during any of his other political songs, mostly people cheered, especially when Roger sang "Oh George! Oh George! That Texas education must have fucked you up when you were very small." I was cheering, and singing along to all the lyrics.

I was just insanely excited to be there, it was my first "big" concert that I've ever been to. I usually go see small unknown bands play or my friends bands so I've never been to a real concert, and it was everything that I expected. Witnessing "Dark Side of the Moon" in concert was completly different than just listening to the album. It kind of made me have a deeper appreciation for those songs than I had before.

Oh, and I love the part in 'Mother' when Roger sang "Mother, should I trust the government?" and he kind of makes a face and shakes his head 'no' and everyone cheered, and then I also loved that they had the inflatable pig there! And on it it had written something like "Don't Be Led to the Slaughterhouse, Vote Democrat Nov. 2nd" and then at the end of the song ('Sheep') they released it into the sky. It was a very political concert, but it wasn't very suprising because of all of the political songs that hes written.

I also witnessed my first person tripping on lsd, he was sitting behind us and he kept jumping around and reaching out to the stage like he was trying to grab at what was on the videos and screaming at random times and dancing and then for the last like three songs he was balling his eyes out. It was actually really funny to watch. The amount of pot there was insane! It made me wish that I had brought some, but I didn't even think to, until I had to sit there and smell it all around me.

The traffic was horrendous! It took us two hours to get out of the parking lot, the concert was over at 11 and I didn't even get home until after 3am!

Unfortunately NONE of the pictures that I took ended up coming out, except for one, and thats of the pig, so I'll post that later, but its okay because I bought the program (which was expensive! But I came to the concert wanting to spend money so I bought it) which had a lot of pictures in it already. And I bought a shirt, that I'll probably wear for a week straight I'm that happy about the concert haha.

I was kind of disappointed by the end of the concert because "Comfortably Numb" has always been my favorite song by Pink Floyd and Roger didn't play it. But for the encoure he sang a couple of songs off The Wall and I thought that he would end with "Bring the Boys back Home", since the concert was largely political, but he continued on and ended up singing "Comfortably Numb" for the close and I was very happy.

So overall it was an amazing concert, I didn't want it to ever end.

I think Waters was the main driving force behind Pink Floyd. Gilmour was awesome though, don't get me wrong. I love David Gilmour, but Waters was the main song writer. Gilmour is a better musician, but Waters comes up with really good concepts and his lyrics are some of the best lyrics ever written.

I can agree with that. There's floyd fans that love the music side. And those who love the Lyrical side

TO me, Animals is their best record. It is their best musically, and lyrically. It's a shame that Gilmour ignores it. At least Waters gives it some love still.

It was badass though to see David playing Echoes on his tour this year.

YOu have to realize that a lot of the people are drunk idiots that are just there because it's the thing to do. I guarentee that if you asked most people at that show about non commercial Pink Floyd music, that they wouldn't know a fucking thing about it.

I don't know if he is going to Texas or not. I'm no where near Texas so I didnt bother paying attention to his tour schedule when he got down south.

The show was absolutely amazing. I made the mistake of not smoking weed but I'm on a drug break for now. Nick Mason came out too and played a few songs with the band.

The only bad part was having to sit next to this 50 something year old fucking idiot who tried to explain to me that no one wants to hear Roger's political views they just want to see him entertain.

I agreed with him just to shut him up, he was very drunk and by no means did I want to get into an arguement.

Over all it was a great fucking night, If you get the opertunity to see Roger don't pass it up!
