I was wondering if you experienced hunters could help me out. I am going on a trip to Big Sur in early July which is a forest on the Northern California coast, could you guys tell me of any good shrooms I could come across.
Liberty Caps? maybe?
I dont think many active shrooms grow there . Ive been there quite a few times and haven't found anything. Course, I really wasnt looking that hard, but its too dry there for anything. If you find a pasture, you might wanna go looking, but its most likely very rare you'll find anything.
this time of year, you will find next to nothing.
Fall is the time to hit up these places, but i would recomend even further north if you are up to it. head to the woods south of Eureka... need wetness... need far north.
too dry right now in the big sur.

Well shit, thats not the info I was hope'n for. But its good to know so I am not so disapointed when I get there, and hunt all day and find nothing. I may just hed a little more north like you guys said where its more moist. Thank you anyway
