I was wondering whether anyone knew anything about psilocybes growing around San Francisco, particularly north of there. I have heard that there are some Ps. Cyans, and Amanita Muscarias (i know they aren't psilocybes) in this area, but have had no confirmations. Any information would be greatly appreciated...

P. cyans can be found in SF (look in the parks) and most everywhere north, especially if you stick near the coast and look in the cities. stay out of the woods would be my advice, although i have heard of libs being found in cow pastures around Petaluma. if you want a sure shot take a trip up to humbolt county, they have shitloads of both.
I'm from Sonoma County which is pretty weak for hunting. there are lots of cool mushies to hunt though, chantrells oysters, morels ada da dada

well people are not just going to take you hunting. You have to put in your time and figure out what you are looking for first. You do this by reading and not asking questions. The answer to every question can be found here. buy psilocybin mushroooms of the world, it isnt really that helpful but you are supposed to buy it. Join a mycoloy society take at least a dozen trips to a known area that has these mushrooms. You will probably not find some the first time. The study pictures. Every once in awhile the people here slip up and there will be a road sign, building name, or something in the pic. track this place down and go there and tear up the patch and leave nothing behind. This is how it is done and good luck

why would u make a forum dedicated to hunting mushrooms in norcal?
arent we already on the largest collective of mushroom hunters in the world?
i would say signing up for your site would be a huge risk to personal safety, and a complete waste of time and effort considering everyone is already, right here.

god damn, i am sick of beginners showing up here and straight up asking us where to find magic mushrooms or which ones can be found in their area. some of these people are obviously under 18, which i wouldn't mind as much if they at least acted a bit more mature. all the halfway experienced hunters know this website can give you all the answers you need to find what you're looking for. USE the search button or the relevant threads that show up at the bottom!
and tahoe, drop it man. you're better than this
6 year old thread? wtf
