i got a letter from my isp for pirating

hey everybody, this is the 2nd time ive gotten a letter from my isp about pirating music/movies. the first time i got it i was downloading kiss music with the warez p2p program. that was over a year and a half ago. today i got a letter from them again because my isp got an email from NBC Universal. NBC universal said i was downloading "Ali G Indahouse DVDrip kvcd by BummedOut(TUS Release).bin" with Bittorrent how can i stop these peeps from busting me? i also was doing a little reading and apparently HBO has a special wing in their company to bust the little guy. is there any programs i can use to stop them anyone have any advice besides stop downloading lol?

use proxy servers, they help to hide your identity. They make it so instead of seeing you people see the proxy server and you remain anonymus (spelling).

yea all the proxy ips ive found though are really slow. anyone have a few fast ones?

just stop seeding the file they mentioned (you've probably already done that anyways by the time you got the letter) and dont worry about it... i've gotten about 15 letters from the RIAA and MPAA over the last 7-8 years and no legal action yet

Use peerguardian... it stops IPs looking at what your downloading.. its free too.

ive read about peerguardian on some torrent site and alot of people on them say it doesnt work for this particular issue. thanks though.

Most torrent sites have comments on the actual torrent, just check them and most of the time people will identify which ones are being tracked by someone like HBO. I would try peerguardian, just remember to update the lists.

I'd tell my ISP to go ahead and kick me off, there is only like 5 more in the phone book. They just send the letters so they face no legal action from above.
