Read about this on el reg this morning. Looks like another napster, and will fal into obscurity as that whole bullshit about appeasing copyright holders means they are gonna just fuck TPB over. They said it can't die, it might as well be dead if it goes the same way as napster.

I...am very disappointed in hearing this..the people who fought so hard to keep that site around get bought out..bunch of sell outs..now where will I download..oh yea it's the internet

I dunno about demonoid. Someone gave me an invite code a while ago and I signed up. But so far I've found it to be lacking compared to some public trackers I've used.
Maybe I just haven't used it to it's full potential. I've passed it up many times and just used public trackers like TPB and btjunkie. They've always fulfilled my needs 100%.

Yeah, it can be lacking at times, but what it does have is always far more reliable. TPB will definitely be missed.
