couldn't think of a better heading but i wrote up some "somewhat" interesting idea's and would like some imput educated imput. I don't claim to be smart but i have a creative mind.

ok so i got to thinking, there are animals out there where only the head male of the group is allowed access to the females basicly.

in essence one male to one female. Now im not sure what happens when this male dies and the new one takes over.

but my main idea here is that the reason for this is to stop the creation of diseases.

then i got to thinking, when a female gets pregnant the baby has half the dna from the mother and half from the father....so basicly the mother's blood mixes with the fathers.

so when a female has babys with many different fathers her blood gets mixed with them all....this sounds like a good way to spread and create dieseases to me....and wouldn't the mothers blood being mixed with many fathers result in babys with blood from a mother and many fathers?

i know that the egg and sperm have dna from just one father and one mother BUT...threw the umbilical cord the blood mixes right? from baby to mother....so whatever is in the mothers blood ends up in the babys blood currect?

No, just sex cells intermingle. There is no tranference of blood from male to female in the basic sex act.

No, for the same reason listed above. Of course, there are STD's which can easily pass from male to female and vice-versa.

As I understand it, the baby and mother's blood do not mix - only nutrients and oxygen are transferred between child and mother via the umbilicus.

You know how there is blood types a+ vs a-? Well the + or - is a Rh antibody. A mother can be Rh - and have a Rh+ baby. This can cause problems during birth because, well it can be a bloody experience. Point is, while blood from mom can get to the baby, it isn't always the case and mom and baby's blood is independent to the point of a mother having a baby with a completely different blood type.
