Adult male sperm whales can have 1 ton testes (each). A female sperm whale can have many mating partners in a single season with each male trying to blast out his competitors' sperm in the female whale. Makes me hot just thinking about it.

In the universe there are clouds of hydrogen resulting from the Big Bang. This gas clumps together because of gravity, and if the clumps are big enough the heat of their inner friction will cause nuclear fusion, making it a star.

The ashes of the nuclear fires are all the atoms that our planet and bodies consist of. We truly are stardust.

The calcium in our bones and iron in our blood we owe to a supernova exploding near here some billions of years ago. If it weren't for the death of that star, life on earth would lack blood and bones.
