That is what I fear. People are getting less creative in expressing their emotions. Society is generally leaning towards quick fixes and instant gratitude. It is rare to see people making personal sacrafices to please another, in simplest terms I think that's what romance is sacrificing time or money for another individual without expecting anything in return - just a smile and a feeling that you were able to cheer someone up should be plenty.

Romance is a fantasy. It has to be created. But no one is willing to put energy towards it.

Women did kill chivalry. But I believe every chick still wants to be reminded that she is loved and what better way to express that then through romantic gestures.

when im with a girl i like to do romantic things...i mean i like to get the reaction, they're so happy. i like suprising them with flowers when they are having a bad day. i like wine and talking, nice dinners. i like spotaneous wild sex, which i think in certain cases can be very romantic. i dont mind holding a hand, or calling to say goodnight. see ive developed a natural just dislike of most women, they're personalities... but if i find one i like, which is extremely RARE i make a really good boyfriend. shit my last chick i remember one night i got us an expensive downtown hotel room, candles, jacuzzi, wine, a cd player goign with a mix of her favorite dave matthews songs (her fav band), i even made the sex more passionate.

well the old movies. the new movies and tvs have killed romance, don't you think?
