Need help with fruity loops

Anyone know a way I can use my line in as a channel? Im trying to scratch to a loop I recently made, but I dont know how to integrate my setup with fruity loops. Is there like a plugin for this kind of thiing?

Fruity Loops is a sequencer, firstly. unfortunately you can't record a line-in AFAIK with Fruity Loops. You can easily get Adobe Audacity, Cool Edit Pro, or more difficultly get Cubase SX. These programs are wave recorders, and can record your line in. Fruity Loops only deals with samples and vst's.

Thanks , I never really knew the specifics of the differences between programs. I saw someone do something on youtube where he scratched and cued segments of several different records, and they all looped and syncronized with all the other recorded segments and it was crazy. This was all with ableton live. What he did looks rather simple, but what boggles me is how I set it up. Is there any specifically good websites where they teach you how to set up channels for the line-in and the proper way to map MIDI controllers for ableton?
