Health Care for the uninsured.

I've been having some health issues (probably just minor) as of late and would like to get a full physical. However I have no insurance and don't need a huge bill that I'll be paying off for years to come. What does one living in the USA with no insurance do? Any help as to free or cheap clinics in central NY state would be most appreciated. I've done some searching on google but haven't come up with much.
This is about the best website I've found thus far: http://www.chcanys.org/index.php?submenu=About_Us&src=gendocs&link=aboutus_mission&category=Main
They have a clinic in my area, going to call them and see what they're all about.
I know there are many intelligent people on the boards, there must be somebody who is more educated on the topic than myself. I'm pretty much lost. Any help is most appreciated.

If you live where " Kaiser Preemanente" resides( I think it's GA and CA+ more) you can get a $56 dollar a month plan, with $30 covers on visits, and $5000 premiums on serious shit. It would be worth ti short term if you look into it, and need it. However I don't think this chain resides in the north, I'm sorry.

Most States have a Medicaid program which pays for medical care for free, or at low cost. Since it's basically "medical welfare" you have to be pretty poor and live on your own to qualify.

Medicaid. If you are poor and have kids....you can get free shit at the hospital. I am a libertarian...so I don't support that shit. But, if it exists you might as well take advantage of it.

I don't really want to apply for medicaid. I guess it's a possibility if all else fails but I'd have to move out of the rents house to apply. Basically I would have to say I am living on the streets. I'm more looking for a cheap clinic or cheap health insurance/health plan I can get short term. Is this even feasible, does fairly cheap health insurance even exist?
