Can't adjust to civilized life

I have lost all sense of self control since spending 3 months in the mountains with out ice cold beers, sodas, meat that isn't dehydrated or in a foil packet, etc... Since I've been back, which is 4 entire days I've gained ten pounds, drank 40 beers, eaten 2 boxes of ice cream sandwiches, drank 12 cokes, drank a gallon of milk, and on and on and on... Worst thing is all I want to do is run, bike or hike and I can't do shit since I have a constant annoying sharp ass pain in my foot where ever I go.

I can't sleep at night either, I'm used to my pad and sleeping bag, beds seem like major over kill. I found myself pulling my gear out of my pack last night to sleep on the open ground in my back yard.

I just flat out miss the AT and am unsatisfied with my journey, I want to see it all, I want to hang with hikers and I don't care how many fucking ramen noodles, tuna packets and peanut butter logs I have to eat for the rest of my life, I just want back out on that trail.

This frustration is going to drive me insane.

I'm sorry to here about that bro. just remember you are not what you eat. you are what you don't shit. beds are over kill and they make you lazy. i sleep on the Floor of my place i think thats a perfectly normal thing to do. so keep on rocking it. it is not a bad thing to be out of the loop of how our fucked up pampered life styles are. I'm about to leave for a few months and I'm stoked. anyway good luck.

I had that after 3 months being away, i slept in a make shift tent in the back garden for a week.

It's like you don't even want to switch the TV on for fear of slipping back into normal shitty life.

I have had loads of cannabis.

I can't burn insence, my nose is much to sensitive from being away from man made smells, it makes me gag. I can't stand natural fabrics on my skin either, they are sticky, I'm still wearing my hiking clothes, I tried a cotton tee and boxers a couple days ago and they drove me nuts.

I can't go on tour or join the rainbow circus, I must go back to work, get my foot well and get back on the AT before the winter sets in so hard only a fool would walk through New Hamshire. I can't this thru hike idea out of my head, this is far from what is considered a purist hike but still won't be missing any white blazes and I haven't missed one yet. Under the circustances this will making finishing that much more gloreous.
