Did I blow it? (Urgent question inside)

I innoculated my myco bags yesterday. The temperature in my growing area when I left the house was 73 deg. I have a light to bring the temp up, and I left it on. I just set this all up, and this is the first time i've done this so I didn't know what to expect. But, I get back about an hour and a half later, and the temp in the area is 100 deg f. I cooled it down after that, and now I have it set at a good steady temp.
Did I kill it???

My bird had the same problem... Hers was higher (103+), but, here jars are doing very well.... Cept she is using a heating rock and it is drying out her jars :S
