i harvested some shrooms from a grow bag when i weighed them after they were picked they weighed around 53 fresh grams, i have had them in the fridge and plan on using them tonight, me and my friend wanted to have a relaxing level 3 trip.my question is now they weigh 40g, are they just drying out meaning i really probably have about 5.3 or the 53 wet grams and should use these numbers to dose or?

just split them in half and you 2 will have a nice time.
depending on how much you guys weigh.....you might not get a level 3.
but should have a nice time.....just the same.
10 grams wet = 1 gram dry

yes i undestand that thanks.
well i am around 190lbs and the other is around 140lbs.
my question is when i weighed them when they were picked they were 53 fresh grams meaning 5.3 dry grams.
now they are maybe 40 fresh grams meaning 4.0 dry grams
so what would really be our dose?at 5.3g we should have enough for both but with only 4g who knows?
what i want to know is why they shrunk?and will i have the same experience as eating 5.3 dry grams instead of 4 dried grams
anybody understand what i am trying to say?

well i already have refrigerated them everybody said they would be fine.
plan on eating them today.
the only problem or question i have is when i weighed them when they were just picked they were 53 fresh grams now they are down to 40.is this becasue the water has started to evaporatE?

yes its cause its evaporating. You will have 5 grams dryed. eat all 5 and yould be set. If its your 1st time split those in half.I ate 4.5 grams dry the 1st time and freaked out

thanks.
i was planning on splitting in two for a friend
about 2 to 2.5g of dry shrooms per person.
this is my first time and just want to have a level 3
hopefully this is enough for both of us.

don;t worry try it and see what happens..everyone's body different....better to start off less then too much....have fun:)

Like Resin said, you will have 5 grams dried. You cant take into account the weight of the shrooms anytime between the fresh state and the cracker dry state.
Only after you pick them and when they are completely dry will you get a good measurement.
If they arent completely dry, it will still be 1/10 of what they ORIGINALLY were when you picked them.

You're not getting it... If they weighed 53 grams fresh, they'll weigh 5.3 grams dry.
It makes NO difference what they weigh in between fresh and dry.
