N00b Harvesting Question

Hey all, first time posting/growing and I thought I'd ask a quick dumb question:

I read all the FAQ's and Tek's and stuff but nowhere have I seen how to harvest the shroomies... I mean, do you take a knife and cut them off at the base or do you just take hold and yank them out of the casing?

I've got 9 jars (1 was lost during pasteurization cuz it tipped over in the boiling water) at about 10 days in of colonization, the sides are pretty much covered and I'm guessing another week to get the bottom completely covered.

I'll get another thread going when I get a digicam to post progress.
