THis one is Bletus edulis form Thailand and they were gigantic, at least some of them.

and with a ruller, the cap is over 7 inches in diameter.

Nope no bugs in the ones that we pick at least. For everyone that is picked there might be one or two left behind in the field that are not quality enough to bring back.
I have a couple of more pictures for you at the moment, my mushroom hunting partner has to forward the rest of them so I can put them up. The first one is the biggest found so far in this season and the next one will be the pictures of it cut up.
