Is there anybody here at or over a Terabyte of memory?

The computer revolution merrily works its wat to another order of magnitude. Now we're at the dawn of the Terabyte era. >

A million megabytes, its safe to say that those of us who regularly buy a new box will have a TB of memory before 2010.

To give you an idea: recording quality MP3 comes at a cost of 1 megabyte a minute, which means that one terabyte could record every single sound you hear, or play music during, the complete waking part of 1.000 days.

Is there anyone here who already has 1+ Terabyte of memory in their home computer? Just about everybody here has 0.03-0.3 TB, but do we have anyone with a full terabyte or over? What kind of processor and internal memory do you have to use that successfully?
We want to know!

If you mean hard drive space, I have 4 250 GB hard drives. 2 in each of my computers. So together, yeah that's 1 TB. I've got about 800 GB of it full.

HDD I'm assuming. A TB of internal memory would probably give me a climax.

I TB right now in a personal computer is doubtful, they are going to need to make everything a little smaller and more effecient for that to be possible, and as we've seen before, they always do.

I don't think a TB on a server is too far fetched, but still pretty top of the line.

I think I may have overestimated technology. I haven't really been in the game for a year or 2, ever since I quit playing video games. I guess progress happens.

I have an extensive collection of music, ripped to FLAC from the original media, and complete television series, and soon, every UFC & Pride PPV.

Filling that space with porn would be a waste.
