It was under a tree in the leaves (just after autumn here) Gill Color: Yellowish Orange Gills: spongey looking yellowish sponge. Stem: White with no bruising color. Diameter of stem: 2cm (an inch or so) Diameter of mushroom: 10cm (4 inches about) Texture: A brownish color skin when peeled back reveals a yellowish 'flesh'. Shape: Quite flat with no lumps or rises. Scent: Has a strong 'lemony ' smell, nice smell and as for a spore print..

That does not fit the description of a hallucinogenic mushroom. The description of the gills confuses me, are there gill or are there pores?? It should be one or the other, not both. Spongey material beneath the cap indicates a type of mushroom called a Bolete. To take a spore print, remove the stem from the cap and place the cap gill/pore side down on a piece of white paper. Leave it be over night. I recommend atleast 6-12 hrs.

Looking at your pics, CureCat was right on. Those are boletes. Not active, maybe poisonous. Don't eat! Do some research, you're not going to find hallucinogenic mushrooms by just picking any random mushroom you find.

Cool, you edited with photos. That is one soggy looking bolete. I would certainly not eat it.
