How long can shiitake plug last?

I am planing to buy a shiitake mushroom plug, but i need to know how long can the plugs last? A few weeks, a few months? This knowlagae will influence me in deciding how many plugs should i order.

I would think that if you refridgerated it. It would prob. last a while, I'm not 100% sure how long exactly tho, so i would say a couple months, you can keep agar plates with mycelium in the fridge to keep them from growing and to store for later months..

not frozen, no. I might get myself some plugs also.

You can keep plugs at 40°F for a year or even longer. They have to be wrapped well, otherwise they could dry out.
