How to make shiitake plugs?

hi, i got some logs that i want to inoculate with shiitake (and ganoderma?) plugs. how i can made my own plugs?

You can buy spiral grooved hardwood dowels at any large lumber yard or other woodworking supply. Boil for an hour, or soak them in water for 24 hours and then sterilize. Inoculate with grain spawn or brf cakes. When fully colonized, use them to drive into your logs.

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.
