Do orgasms use serotonin like ecstacy?

When you're done cumming, are your serotonin cells a little depleted? If so, is it bad for you brain to cum all of the time?

Doesn't seem too likely, but I wonder how much is used during an orgasm.

I'm fairly sure it's dopamine that is released, not serotonin. Dopamine is the "immediate response" chemical in your brain for pleasure, whereas serotonin is responsible for overall mood.

Endorphins, oxytocin, Dopamine, Serotonin... many of the chemicals your brain produces are released during climax

Yes, it is involved.

Interestingly, serotonin is more likely to INHIBIT orgasm (makes it more difficult to cum).
