its been a nice break the last few months, but i just cant keep myself away from the fine folks of shroomery. i have some random insights, pictures, and questions from my travels.

i carried 4 LC syringes with me in my car for 2 months, reaching well over 110 degrees on many occassions. i tried them this week and got some excellent LCs, and one of the syringes was actually growing a small mushroom inside.


i dont know how it will behave the rest of the grow, but it looks healthy thus far.

large colanders are hard to find, i made a few of these from bigass turkey roasting pans.

any other ideas?

it was just so exhuasting being a japanese pop sensation, i couldnt handle it anymore.
its good to be back...

Go get a 5 gallon paint strainer from homedepot for $0.50. They are nylon (Or similar) and fit perfectly into a 5 gal bucket. This way you can just put it in the bucket, fill with seed, add water, and just hang to let it dry. Easy, no mess either!

Damn I really want one of those paint strainers, all of my Home Depots/Lowes etc never have any heh.

good call on the paint strainer. toole, ive seen those at sherman williams, i imagine any paint store would carry them also. brewing supply places carry them, but they are more expensive, damn enterprising brewmiesters.
