My official goddbye post.....

Today concludes my last day here at the shroomery for quite a while. I'm sure a lot of people in this environment aren't entirely supportive of the military, and for many ethical reasons I am myself not in entirety, but the final stages of my entry into the army active duty is sealed after much ado. I go on the 28th. I had a lot of fun talking with you wonderful people here at the shroomery, but I have a carreer focus I'm going to be dedicating a lot of my time to and won't be able to post for an indefinate amount of time, so goodbye fellow shroomerites! Adieu! I wish everyone similar luck in their personal endevors and many high times. Smoke more than your fair share for me. Really......

well honestly, look at the benefits, the GI bill, big re-up bonuses, paid
everything, housing, uniforms, food, travel, education plus you get a few perks
later on... if you save most of what you earn while your in you'll have a damned
nice chunk when you get out.

it's not easy but it's well worth it for the experience

Thanks prisoner#1- You see I have two children, and haven't been able to give them nearly what I wanted. This is a slap in the face of being dirt ass poor (even though I was getting used to it...). And yeah- the numbers are un-fucking-real. I might even be able to get a car with air conditioning- or tires!

Thanks brother. Really. And P#1- my kids are four years and the other four months. My oldest had her birthday on the 14th! Got her a new bike. They're both darling!

we just had a party for my son today, 3yo though he was born on the 11th, we got a
little girl too with the prettiest blue eyes, everyone else in the family has
brown... I'll be tormenting her for years over it :grin:

That's awesome man.  Both mine look just like me- poor things. :wink:  Aren't kids great?!  We've had one horrible struggle after the other and no chance of me going to school- let alone them.  So I bit the bullet and it turned out all for the better.  Scored very high on tests.  Last test I scored so high on was a hair test. :smile:
