i like holloween. its fun.
heres a part of my costume that im making (diagram B):
 

the outside is black, and the inside is lined w/ red.
im going to be "Jack the Ripper" from the movie "From Hell"





my g/f, is going to be my wench. here is her costume that she is making but with different colors: (short sleeve )

     
so yeah...whos next?  :wink:

I got my cloak and a leather tunic my girl made... modified my boots so they are knee highs... got some tight pants... its bad as shit... wore it to a costume party tonight... will post pics when I get them

My buddy and I are going as the Blues Brothers.  I'm tall and slim, and he is shorter and a little heavier.  Should work perfect.  The hats, shades, suits....the whole nine.  Gonna go door to door to try and get donations for our "church"  :smile:

I don't celebrate Halloween* as I used to ... I personally don't find the enjoyment in going door to door to get candy, especially since I hate candy and all sweets as you already know ...

I think the fun of Halloween comes from the mood of it ... weather and the mood of my environment are what make me happy or sad more than anything else. Good, spooky (stormy) Halloween weather is when I am happiest in the entire year ... nothing can get me down ...

Last year I just went for a walk around my neighborhood, which luckily gets no trick-or-treaters ... a really demented dealer who lives down the street (who I have never met personally and never cared to, either) approached me when I was walking by and started mumbling shit as though he were tripping really hard or something) ... I know he wasn't doing it for scare factor but it was just odd ... I didn't say anything back, I just kinda shrugged and kept walking, hoping he wouldn't pull a gun or something ...

I'll probably just go for another walk this year ... that's all I care to do, anyway ... then sit in my room with candles lit and read ...

i'm not goin' costume style. however, i bought $30 worth of facial makeupes/features so that i can make it look like a screw went through my head. all the costumes i looked at, i didn't like - and i don't have the resources at the moment to make my own.

I am going to work, as a Girl

- I usually have to dress as if I work in a M.A.S.H Unit, with heavy work boots, an apron, various signage is applied to me at regular intervals, as if the apron wasnt dehumanizing enough - and I am usually rife with pens and clips and stapler removers sticking out of my pockets, and hair.

Since I only have to show up for Paperwork - I decided I am coming as a Girl  - I have a black linen off the shoulder dress  I just bought, it has a key hole set off the collar and I will pair it with silk hand knotted fishnets and my Italian heels, - I have a hat with a fishnet veil that just comes to the bridge of my nose. I suppose I will wear a French twist or some other 'classy' Hair Do and my wrist lenght fishnet gloves with small laces on the palm side - I got them as a gift, and never wore them - now seems appropos - I think i will take in a Flick at the Film Archive in the East Village.
