The missing stash

I've been visiting my parents for a couple weeks. While I was here, I met up with an old acquaintance and picked up some weed. It was really shitty stuff, pretty wet, and I was worried about it molding if I didn't do anything to dry it a little.

So I put it in a paper bag to dry it out, and I've been keeping it in my old room in an unused drawer full of kid's books and dusty guitar pedals. I go to air out the bag this morning, when one of my worst fears strikes. The paper bag is gone.

My mom was cleaning out the garage yesterday, looking stuff to bring to goodwill. She probably remembered the junk in that drawer and found a mysterious bag.

I've managed to accidently avoid seeing my mother since the time I think she found it. I talked to her once on the phone today, and she sounded completely normal. This is something she would blow a gasket over. I finally got caught, and she's either waiting for me to say something or avoiding the subject entirely.

It could have been so much worse. I had near an ounce of mushrooms and all my other shit in there until just the other day.
