Anyone who owns "the mushroom cultivator" read

I am looking at buying this book used

here is the description I was given

a copy of "The Mushroom Cultivator", subtitled "A Practical Guide
To Growing Mushrooms At Home", by Paul Stamets and J. S. Chilton,
oversize softcover, ? 1983, 415 pages, index, glossary,
bibliography.

its copyrighted in 1983

I dont know if this is an old release that may not have some newer techniques in it. Would anyone who has this book mind to check when theirs was copywrited, or know if there have been more than one release.

No, it hasn't been revised. Get Growing Gourmet and Medicinal Mushrooms as it has been recently updated.

true, but GGMM isn't nearly as detailed about psychedelic species or growing bulk.
i have both books, and found TMC to be better.
