coolmist and ultrasound with peroxide?

I have just completed my Martha setup. I have a cool mist and a ultrasound. The directions for the cool mist say to just add tap water to it and the ultrasound says to add distilled water. Is this fine, or should I add peroxide to each of them? If yes, how much? Thank you.

I'd bet you could use whatever you want. For good measure I use a bit of h2o2 in my coolmist.

Ultrasound? How many months are you?
Just playin.
They recommend 'stilled water cause then it won't have the minerals in it that build up inside your hummer, amongst other things.
Filtered tap water with a little H202 seems to work fine for alot of people.

I use regular ole tap in my US because it hardly ever runs! I have it hooked up to a humidistat but the coolmist usually provides plenty of Rh my US is basically a fail safe and only kicks on if Rh drops below 80%.... coolmist is usually adequate (impeller type)

I use to put a shitload in the cool mist and very little in the ultrasonic.
Buuuuuuuuuuuuut like once a month I'd put straight h202 in the ultrasonic and fog the chamber with that. I have no idea if it did shit but I hardly ever had contam probs.
