Perhaps this is behavior as intended.

Thread preview windows don't work when SSL is enabled.
When SSL is disabled, they work fine.

That's weird, I spent a little while messing with it but couldn't get it to work. Maybe some kind of weird Javascript security thing, I'll have to look into it further.
