Javascript Quote Function
    #10037298 -

I've noticed the recent change that makes it so that when you hit Quote on a reply, instead of taking the quote to a new page, it instead places it in the quick reply from that page. While I know this isn't a major problem, I'm in the habit of quoting different things from the same page as I read to reply to when I'm finished reading the thread, and I like to click the Quote button with the middle wheel of the mouse to open them all as new windows, so I don't lose my place in the thread. Now it simply opens up a blank window with the javascript code as the address.

Is there any way to make it so we can toggle the new function as our preference, so I can keep taking advantage of the way it used to work and those who want it working the way now can have it their way too?

Understandable that it's bothersome to change new improvements based on every user's whim, but I too was a little inconvenienced by the new feature's scrolling down to the Quick Reply feature, as this means that I lose my original place in the thread where I used to continue scrolling down and potentially add more quotes from other desirable areas.

Would it be possible to keep the same Javascript function except without automatically scrolling down to the Quick Reply box?  (Or at least give an option that would allow us to toggle which way we prefer?)
