Why was this changed to javascript?  It's bothersome for me -- I often hit the "Quote" link and open it as a new tab, and continue reading the thread, repeating for any posts I see that I may wish to reply to, and if my point's already been made I just close that particular tab, and once through the thread type out my replies and condense each quoted bit into one post.

Except now it's jscript and I can't open it in a new tab, it shoves it into the quick-reply box at the bottom of the thread.  I have to open a reply tab, and constantly copy/paste quotes into that new tab, which involves a TON of scrolling up and down and flipping tabs back and forth.  And I've got to clear that bottom 'quick reply' box every time I hit quote, or it winds up just being a wall of text and ubbcode that's a pain to even look at.  And heaven help me if I think i can just hit the back button to go back to the post I was just reading..

What was the problem with "quote" opening a new window?  >:\  to me this new javascript-quoting thing is just a PITA.  I mean honestly, who is using a browser that doesn't supported tabbed browsing..  and even if it doesn't you can still just open a new window, too.  Unless you're using 8+ year old hardware you can have plenty of windows and tabs open, I just don't get it at all why this change was made.

I have logged in this once so that I can set the "last seen" feature up.  let the faggots flow forth into OTD and have it.  Its funny how they all grew nuts after I left.  I'm not here, I'm not reading, but I urge you all to keep melting down over me.  I know, I hurt alot of people, and they deserved it.  epic win for me, epic fail for you. 

ythan, you rock dude.  i feel that my time at the shroomery was very positive and enjoyable, but this site is no longer for me. im not mad or upset or disappointed, i just want no part in a pg rated faggot festival.

What was the issue with the old quote method?  If it was something technical cool, but if not could there be an option to revert to the older method?  I've got a tough time keeping track of what I want to say to who when I jump up and down and up and down the page, especially when posts get really lengthy (such as in pol. discussions)..
