Cutting cakes in half ?

I may try cutting a cake in half this time. You would think you can harvest more fruit with making the cake 2 pieces instead of one.

Has anyone tried doing this before?

I don't know. I've read that a larger Mycelium network creates a stronger fuiting, but I would think the increased area of available fruiting mycelium would help produce a larger harvest.

I've found the bigger the chunk of mycellium, the bigger the shroom. Smaller chunks produce smaller shrooms.
