LOL... That reminds me... I had the exact same auditory hallucination once a few years ago when lying in bed. I wasn't even close to being asleep because I was talking to someone when it happened. The phone rang for quite a while and then I heard a woman answer it. She seemed to talk normally for a while and then went said something very suddenly in a very angry tone of voice. Then I heard the phone just ringing again.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't real, since I've never heard anyone speak on a phone the way she did.

I don't seem to have a lot of auditory hallucinations on mushrooms... high doses of cannabis however, well, that's another story.

I recall my first level 5 trip... After we came back from the beach, my buddy put on a Jimi Hendrix album that I'd never heard (I hadn't listened to much Hendrix at the time, silly me!). It got to the track "Red House," and I just exclaimed
-What is that?!
My friend got worried that something was wrong (we had both been near-freezing outside in 30 degree weather in November.. talk about ego death meets real death! was quite scary actually)
I replied..
-This.. music... what is he doing?!
He replied...
-It's Hendrix.. this is what he does.

It blew my mind. Listen to "Red House" while tripping and it will seriously change the way you hear Hendrix and delay pedals forever.

One time I was high on weed and we were driving to the movies. I was like 'It's so crazy that we can hear that dog in here' cause we going down the highway. It really freaked me out when I realized I was just freaking out.

Another time on dust it sounded like someone was crumpling paper in an echo chamber with the reverb set at 11. It was reallly loud too. That was really cool, like some kind of wild avant garde music.

That reminds me of a story from an old (now dead, suicide) friend of mine. He said he was with this chick just the two of them at three in the morning or so tripping hard as hell on LSD listening to this record
