PLZ HELP - Can't get humidifier setup to run right

Heya, I put a lot of time putting this setup together but I can't get the humidifier to push vapor through the tubes, instead it seeps through the crack where the top meets the bottom. I sealed up the original vapor exhaust port on the humidifier, and mounted grommets where the tubes attach to the humidifier. When I let it run for a few minutes a SMALL amount of moisture collects at the begginning of the tubes but that is about it. Please help, all my effort will have been for nothing if I don't get this to work. Thanks in advance.

My setup looks like this:
You don?t want to see the white mist coming out of the tube actually, the air is moist enough.

Cool...thanks Anno. I siliconed up my grommet holes, re-tubed the humidifier and the humidity guage has been at 90% for the past 2hrs, thanks for the tip!

wow, that set up looks really cool, i bet you spend alot of time emptying the jugs and it cost you some cash to build, i saw one once but the chick tore it all down and has just used perilite & peroxide ever since, it is real simple, and works well

did the perlite thing for over a year. It has it's benefits but I prefer having a timer I can set since I go out of town a lot. I find perlite can start to get too dry for me to leave for a couple of days around the time of the 2nd-3rd flush. (and the entire setup cost less than $40)
