WOW... that is a voyage and a half. No shit you were lucky to not be in the downtown! It is a beautiful thing to go that far, but it is equally frightening. The lack of control in the mind and the physical world makes me think hard about going that far again. My high dose experiences become twisted and confusing around people. It's something about act of trying to communicate that changes the experience from purely "psychedelic" to "psychedelicly frusterating".

The amazing perceptions of an experience like that can have serious lasting effects on the mind. And despite how frightening they are at the time, the look back is always one of utter beauty. A sense of "wow, I made it". In a few of my high dosers my mind accepted and awaited death. I was literally the living dead. It caused me to examine my life in a way that not many people get the chance to observe. I saw the love, the hate, and the changes I would have made had I gotten another chance. Well I got those chances several times, but the realizations made were always buried under an earthquake of ego as the effects wore off.

The mind is a strange thing; but powerful. At the same time, however, the molecule is always stronger. It's about respect.

i thinks its wise to make sure you have a house or at least a room where you wont be disturbed to trip in. Im glad you guys survived and grew wise, but again, imagine if you had been tripping that hard downtown, got picked up...

whatever. point is, youll be glad to have a space to yourself to chill when you cant feel your brain anymore.

I knew that at the time too. but this cliff we were walking along is just a few joggers and bikers during the night. 99% of the time cops never roll by there. alot of hippies walk along the cliffs tripping cause it looks so inconspicuous.

we planned to end up in the fields or back in the park (where we ate them) for our peak. but amid all the chaos I was surprised we made it to either. We were doing fine on a very high dose already, and thats what lead us to eating ALOT more. it was a big mistake at the time, but after looking over that time, it was a very good learning point. I do plan on doing this again in the future, but hopefuly with my girlfriend under a roof somewhere.
