Mycobag Yields?
    #558541 - 02/21/02 12:45 PM (22 years, 1 month ago)

Just ordered 4 mycobags from Sporeworks for experimentation. I searched the forums, but could not seem to find enough feedback to calculate an average yield per bag. I will be using EQ's (from Sporeworks.)

Anybody have any weights, yields, number of flushes or any other good info. on these cool little bags?

Thanks,

B

I remember seeing some threads not to long ago about the yield from those bags. I believe they produce anywhere from 4 to 6 flushs if you keep them pretty sterile, but I can not remember the approximate yields they produced.

I am so mad I can not find that thread that could answer your question. I will keep looking and post it when I find it.

Wait, here is one of them:

Ahhh... thanks for the effort, CukoosNest!

I'll keep looking and I'll be sure to post pics when I have some progress...

I got 4 bags too. The first bag got about 30-40g. wet I think (dried to about 15 g so I might have measured wrong the first time). Second bag got 100g wet. The 3rd bag is almost ready to harvest and is looking somewhere in between. The 4th bag is just starting. Bag #1 has a bunch of pins again and Bag #2 has quite a few. So far, so good (haven't eaten any yet).

Which size of bluethumbs' environment bag does the sporeworks myco bag compare best to?

ie, bluethumbs sells them in 3 flavours, small (6" x 5" x 23"long), medium (8" x 5" x 22"long), and large (13" x 18"long). How big are Myco bags? I'm just trying to figure out what kind of final dried yields I'd get out of a large one by comparing it to Myco bags (which I've heard usually end up with about a half oz of dried shroom). Thanks.

Magician go to Compilers posts under user and you will see the exact size in one of his post... getting the size bag is one part of the equation,., if you can figure out the substrate then you are a Magician lol.. I do wish you the best of luck though and hope to hear more about your research

I don't think folks know that you can post in your journal in an effort to get the first 10 posts. You know...the ones needed to see some threads.

What threads can you see after the first 10 posts that you can't before?  I thought marketplace was the only restricted one and that's got a 50 post 90 day cap or something like that.

Even if that were the case, relevant threads from today would be great to bump in comparison to 12 year old shit with no pictures that's not a tek.

I wasn't justifying it. I think its journal threads that are 10 post restricted.
