how much do mycobags yield?

hey, i was wondering if somebody could tell me an average yield that mycobags would have please, if there is one? i'm extremely new to growing, and i figured a mycobag would be a good way to learn about cultivation before actually mixing up my own vermiculite and brown rice powder and all that crazy stuff that i'm not really getting right now.
thank you very much :-)

if you're brand spankin new, mycobags aren't your best friend yet. you'd have to learn about casing and stuff like that. if you wanna press on, a standard 2lb bag full of grain, cased, may yield 7, or 8 if you're lucky

so then, if im totally new, what would you recommend please? i've checked out the faqs and whatnot, and a lot of it seems confusing. i'd rather find out from a person what they think the easiest way to start is, for someone with little knowledge about mycology, but willing to learn. like, i try reading the teks, but after a certain point, i feel like i'd actually have to be growing them to understand the processes involved. hands on kinda deal.
so yea, what do you recommend then? and 7 or8 what please?

units, lol. It's not confusing, at all, just read, it's all very very simple, easier then growing a plant my friend would say. If you want though, I'd just buy a syringe and mycobag, like shirley said and case it once it's full colonized. That should yield a good 7-8 hell who knows, maybe even 12-15 dry. Units dry. -Mr.Sleep

My friend started with mycobags and was the best thing for him. He decided to crumble and case them and got a half ounce off each of them. After that he decided that it was to expensive to bye the pre-made myco-bags so he learned how to prepare WBS (really easy) and load his own bags that he bye's from sporeworks steralizes them, innoculate's, and either cases the WBS or spawns bulk and he has tremendous succes. He thinks its the best way to go. WBS is the best substrate to innoculate. It stays all contained so thier is a lower chance for contams. And you have way more substrate to work with. In his opinion its the cleanest, easiest, and fastest way for larger yields. And entiformatie if you would like me to share with you his method of all of this just pm me and I would be happy to share it with you.
