me and a friend of mine plan on buying some mycobags from mycobag.com, and buying some amazonian spores from sporeworks.com.
i was curious wut the yield might be, if grown correctly. i was estimating about a 1/4 ounce or so. and if anyone has any advice on growing, itd be greatly appreciated.

You *should* get at least an ounce dry per bag. I'm not sure how much substrate is in a mycobag, though.

Dassault gives a perfect example of how to grow a beautiful cake from a bag.
Did you dunk those cakes in the bag Dassault?

My cat dunked the cake in the bag before the 1st flush, and threw it out when it was drained. The rest of the dunkings were in a bowl.

Cool... I was just wondering. That is a great way to insure a sterile first dunk.

Daussaulit what kind of subtrate was in those bags. It wasn't grain was it? I heard grain doesnt fruit so good as a cake.
And why did you throw out the first bag? How did you dunk it in the bowl? Can you give me some details?

mycobags are grain-based. it is verm and rye berries and maybe some other shit. my cat never fruited one in the bag, but when fruited as a cake, a single bag yielded 28g dry.

mycobags are mycobags. my cat didn't make them, he bought them. Thats just the way they come.
Sorry for the confusion, but after he dunked, he threw away the bag, not with the substrate inside it. Its already been cut open and really not worth reusing, they sorta leak anyways.
How did my cat dunk it in the bowl? http://www.shroomery.org/index/par/23292 Its in the FAQ. A dunk is a dunk, doesn't matter what you put it in, just as long as the cake or whatever is fully submerged. If you want to do it in a garbage bag, it can be done.
