Rubbermaid grow cabinet?

Ok, so I don't have a closet in my room, I was thinking I could line a large rubbermaid container with tinfoil, put in few small pots at the bottom (maybe 6) then in the lid, I could cut holes and put 2 105watt flourecent lights in, the plants would all be bonzai of course. What do you guys think of this? would I be able to keep plants under a foot and a half tall do you think? I am hoping for maybe a little over a quarter oz per plant.

I use a big purple rubbermaid in my closet to grow from during winter months.

First of all, no tinfoil. That crap only equals burns on your plants. Use white paint man.Secondly I found out I get a better yeild with two - four plants that grow to be 11/2ft to 2 ft tall then then I did having six plants that grew to be only a mere foot tall(lighting fixtures take up space you know). Instead of having the tub in its normal horzontal position, I put it up on end, then mounted the fixtures on the sides (vertically). If your going to keep the tub flat, I suggest getting another tub to stack on it (a double tub) to allow for proper growing room.

Use mylar. And if you cant, use finfoil. But use it dull side up. This wont burn your plants as it diperses the light better,
Make sure ventilation is good.
Other than that, should be fine.

You could not fit a hydro system in a rubbermaid container. Haha.

I heard of one method where you take one of the shallow rubbermaid containers, cut some holes in the top, fill it with water, a bubbler and some solution stuff, put your plants in the top and you can grow like 6-8 little tiny bushy hydro plants?

yah thats called a bubble bucket. You can build them for around 30 bucks or purchase them for around 35+ shipping.

Could you guys show me your rubbermaid grow? I plan on doing a rubbermaid grow but more along the lines of this with fluoros and 50 gal rubbermaid as opposed to this bio tub.
