How do you know when to harvest? (Using Myco bag)

Hi everyone. Forgive me if this has been posted before; I did a search but didn't see any posts that stood out. I have 4 Myco Bags, two of which are really taking off. The other two are lagging. Anyway, for the two that are growing like crazy, how do I know when to harvest? This is my first time growing them (actually, I've never done them before either...I wanted to grow my own for my first time) so I have NO experience at all.
I think this is a great hobby I'm thinking of building a terrarium and going that route. I have a lot to learn. I figure even if I don't like tripping (yeah right), I have friends who do I can share with (and get really popular...lol).
Thanks in advance!

The conventional wisdom is to harvest just when the veil tears(the tissue connecting the cap to the stem that usually forms a ring on the stem).
All of the mushrooms won't mature at once but should be within a few days of each other. I'd wait one day after the earliest mushroom cap opens up and then harvest the whole bag. You might want to harvest earlier to avoid excessive spore drop. You can harvest at anytime the mushrooms look good to you. When they go all ugly you should have harvested earlier but the mushrooms are still good.

If the shrooms u grow aren't going to be consumed by your or your party, and your dog is going to sell them, let them all grow full size!

Thanks, Workman. I read your post awhile back when you experimented with the bags It was really helpful. Funny, because almost all the shrooms in the first bag did that last night (veil broke) and we are harvesting today. They look great! Then we'll close the bag and go for a second flush. This is fun! Thanks for your help.
