I noticed that people use diffrent items for substrate...worm, dung...etc. Why do people use diff ones, do the nutriants grow bette rooms?

Bro.........  find some local stables in your town and grab some older horse shit ... the drier stuff.... tell them it`s for your garden.....  roses  whatever. Wet the shit and nuke in the microwave for 10 minutes on high.....  let cool completely.. crumble some 100%colonized cales to marble size pieces and mix with an equal amount of horse poo. Cover with tin foil with a few holes in it to breathe. Check it in 24 hours.. mycelia hauls ASS through horse shit...  when you see my celia just starting to peek through case with verm or 50/50 verm/peat......  You want at least an inch thick substrate and a half inch casing layer. You should see primordia in 7 -10 days.And yes shrooms are monster compared to plain cakes  and huge flushes. I just harvested 300 wet grams of Amazonians from a 9x12 tin baking pan :smile:
