hi, i was just wondering the opinions from the pros, what is the substrate that gives the highest yields and most potent shrooms?

i definetely can be wrong about this but.. i think rye grain is the best out of al of those but used more for casings. the brf/verm is used for cakes so i think it depends on your plans.

rye berries are the best!
colonize into bulk (beheaded pasturized rye straw) substrate before casing for best results :)

I believe it is a situation where strains from certain dealers become substrate specific. I mean that PF amazonians on BRF/verm are stronger than PF amazonians from PF on rye.
I do all my work on BRF so I get all my spores from PF. I would say use the same substrate that your spore dealer uses. All I know is that PF classics on BRF/ verm with a pinch of worm castings in the cake are real strong to me!!
